Please accept this letter from Linde Gas North America LLC as our response to the draft National Pollutant
Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for stormwater discharge (Permit Number NCS000569)
received Mav 8, 2019. We need to inform you of the following updates since our permit application was
submitted in December of 2013:
1. An updated Site Plan is attached for reference;
2. The Legally Responsible Individual should be updated as provided in the completed Permit
Owner Affiliation Designation Form attached;
3. The Facility contact should be updated to be as follows:

4. The site's 30 cubic yard open dumpster used for recyclable metals has been replaced with a
smaller dumpster with storm -resistant cover. It has been suggested by NC-DEQ that the
metals -monitoring requirement in the permit might thus no longer be needed. We will accept
that adjustment if the state chooses to make it.
We understand that the NPDES Stormwater Permit Number NCS000569 shall be issued and become effective
