Hi Richard,
Thank you very much for your efforts and the update. I saw the UPS envelope on our Admin Specialist's desk, so I can
verify that the results made it.
I also want to apologize for not responding to your July 9rn email. Your reasoning for delaying sampling made sense and I
appreciated you taking the time to explain the circumstances.
Please let me know if any other issues arise or if you have any questions.
Best,
Alaina

Alaina:
We were finally able to get samples during a rain event on 07/31/19 that met the parameters defined in our permit.
The samples were shipped to Pace Labs on 08/01/19 and the results were sent to us on 08/12/19. All results look good.

There was no one here to sign the submittal until 08/16/19, and once the submittal was signed it was sent UPS Next Day
Air to your Raleigh office, where it was delivered today at 10:44 AM.
Thank you for your patience in this instance, and we will do everything in our power to make sure this situation does not
arise again.
Best Regards,

Subject: [EXTERNAL] NPDES SW Permit NCS000077-semi-annual monitoring data
Hi Richard,
I received your letter dated June 28, 2019, explaining the monitoring situation for the facility located at 2914 Patterson
Street in Greensboro. One initial question I have is why you felt sampling on February 20rn wouldn't have been
representative of your facility's stormwater discharge?
Either way, you're still responsible for fulfilling the permit requirements. We're now into July, but there's definitely still
time to sample two different monitoring events with at least 60 days in between.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please let me know.
Best,
Alaina
