Re: Water Treatment Plant Improvements
Wilkesboro, North Carolina
WKD #8621.01
Dear Bill:
Please consider this the Town of Wilkesboro's formal request
for water quality certification for the referenced project. As
we discussed on the telephone, less than one acre of land would
be disturbed. The work would involve sandbagging around the
existing raw water intake in order to allow placing some
mechanical equipment and additional concrete baffling in the
existing raw water intake. It is anticipated that the total
contract time will not exceed 180 calendar days. For your
reference, we have included a site plan and detail plan of the
improvements.
Should you have any questions or require further
information, please feel free to call.
Sincerely,
