The modifications include the following: additional effluent parameters/limits due to the introduction of additional wastewater (uranium filter backwash) generated from AQUA -owned wells producing potable water (7/14/17 PM); extension of the effluent limit deadline for total copper to 4/1/20 (4/12/18 PM); extension of effluent limit deadline for total chloride, total fluoride, total zinc, and WET Testing (as monitor only) to 4/1/20 (5/10/18 PM). The units of measurement for total chloride were changed from ug/L to mq/L in the 8/31/17 permit correction change. The last compliance evaluation inspection by DWR staff was performed on 12/14/16. Post -analysis calibration checks must be performed in accordance with the NC Wastewater/Groundwater laboratory certification approved procedures for the analyses of dissolved oxygen and total residual chlorine. The ORC and staff must ensure to report all effluent total residual chlorine values down to the lowest standard verified on the total residual chlorine meter (annual curve verification). The facility's telemetry -type alarm system functioned properly during the on -site test. The facility has been equipped with a 1,000 gallon tank for the collection of the uranium filter backwash water generated from Agua's potable well systems. One 800 gallon load has been received (April 2019) and the wastewater was combined with the influent via metering system.
