Upon review of your request for Water Quality
Certification to place fill material in an unnamed tributary
to Turkey Creek, we have determined that the proposed fill
can be covered by General Water Quality Certification No.
2176 issued November 4, 1987. A copy of the General
Certification is attached. This Certification may be used
in qualifying for coverage under Corps of Engineers'
Nationwide Permit No. 26.

of Prestonwood, Inc. minor head water wetland fill, (section 401 certification) .
This certification is necessary in order for Prestonwood to obtain a valid nationwide
permit #26 for filling this pond.
I am enclosing a map [USGS Quad Sheet (Cary) showing the pond location and
stream tributaries it empties into. If you need additional information, please call
