This letter is with reference to DWR #20181010, Mr. Richard Scarborough, Dare County and your correspondence
of July 19, 2019. In consultation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Action ID: SAW -2018-01464) and
Mr. Scarborough, we have developed a plan which reduces the extent of fill at the site and proposes removal of any
additional unauthorized fill. Please find enclosed that revised plan with the additional information requested.
Also enclosed is a copy of the revised application which details the current proposal for improvement at 437 and 455
The Lane in Wanchese, North Carolina.

Travel south on NC 345, Mill Landing Road. Turn right onto SR 1143, The Lane. Travel approximately 0.4 miles - property on left.
18. Nature of Activity (Description of project, include all features)
The two lots comprise a total of 33,848 s.f. of which +/- 5,152 s.f. is high ground adjacent to the applicants existing boat building facility. Of
the 28,696 s.f. of wetlands, 11,565 s.f. have not been impacted and 17,131 s.f. have been filled without authorization. The applicant desires
to restore +/- 6,444 s.f. of filled wetlands. The plan proposes to utilize the remaining impacted wetlands in addition to filling +/- 4,318 s.f. of
unimpacted wetlands resulting in a total of +/-10,687 s.f. of wetlands proposed to be filled to accommodate the proposed expansion of the
operation. The proposed expansion includes a new building, wastewater system, (to serve both the existing boat building shop, and the
proposed building), parking, and drive aisles for large trucks delivering materials.

Timberlake mitigation bank.
The cost will be Twenty -Three Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($ 23,500.00). This quote will expire on September 30, 2019. You
