Comment: This inspection was reauested by Grea Kanellis. PE of Hart & Hickman PC. to evaluate ROS
During a recent inspection which was as a result of the ownership change from Goldsboro
Milling, to Butter Ball Feed Mill - Farmville on March 21, 2017, Outfall 003 was noted. As a result,
ROS was submitted to this office for review on 5/23/2017. The site was inspected on 5/24/2017.
Today 6/21/2017, A recommendation to approve ROS was sent in response to the request. I
spoke with Mr. Kanellis by phone and explained my recommendation, which is for Outfall 001
and Outfall 002 to be monitored as required by NCG060364. Outfall 003 is recommended to
receive ROS which exempts the sampling requirements. If changes in the operation occur
which affect Outfall 003. Notify this office for re-evaluation. Outfall 002 has been determined to
be representative of Outfall 003.
