Hey Lindsay,
The IRT is ok with the credit release as proposed. Please see the comments below:
1. They stated did not build 8 log cross vanes. I counted 11 redline X's on the design sheets (maybe some were overlap
but did not notice). At least four were not built because of coming into contact with bedrock. It seems they would have
known about this during the design stage.
2. Also, some of log vanes were not built because of "gas line conflict". Wondering why this was not realized earlier in
the design phase.
3. Some alignment changes due to gas lines also resulted in more footage, not a lot, however; why wasn't this picked up
in design.
4. We (DWR) will accept their request to modify the Heron assets.
5. Table with Success Criteria stated continuous flow must be documented for 30 days. Did not differentiate between
intermittent and perennial.
6. Why the easement changed to extend into South Fork Creek at two points (PDF page 79 - sheet 10)? Are they trying to
make up buffer/easement area loss from elsewhere? How is this easement extension marked in the field - offset posts
on the creek bank?
We are ok with releasing, however, please relay our comments to RS/DMS.
