Subject: Groundwater Standard Exceedances Investigation Report Review
Chuck,
Our office has reviewed the report from CMSD received On 7/23/19 summarizing the results of the above referenced
investigation. We concur with the report's conclusion that elevated metals concentrations detected in groundwater
from the facility's monitoring wells appear to be related to the condition of the wells and turbidity of the
samples. However we ask CMSD what measures they plan to take to maintain the wells so that their condition does not
affect groundwater sampling results in the future?
Also, please note that should new information become available concerning this matter in the future, we reserve the
right to reopen the investigation.
If you have any questions, please give me a call.
