Notes, Sketch, Action Items, etc.:
Adjacent property ditch put restrictive easement fencing 10' each side to keep cattle out;
NLHC - over wide, incised, no buffer, heavy sediment, invasives;
UT2- restoration- ditch with veg in channel, raising - flow question, currently flowing, relocating to more center valley with
wetlands likely developing around (no credit), significant cattle impacts;
Old Bus trib - question JD - will determine treatment & credit, raising may loss flow, major sediment source, cattle use upslope,
stabilization critical; Recommend using buffer tool since wider areas proposed;
Riffle & trapper tribs - incised, invasives, past cattle impacts, multi -drainages, seep source - wetland veg present, restoration vs
E2, value in capturing seeps,
UT1 top reach - very narrow down cut channel, flowing, lower E2 needs work - sediment source, cattle bank impacts, ok with
2.5:1 for reach;
Barn Branch - capture wetland instead of BMP creation, recommend extending easement around wallow/wetland extent;
DOT ROW concern from dam to road - large grated catch basin to culvert;
Pond 1- cattle use will continue outside easement, potentially in pond basin/wetland area?
Mac questioned how stream will be designed to connect all ponds - slope & alignment concerns
