Landscape Notes
1 - The dam structure, including front and back of
embankment slopes, of the pond shall be
vegetated with non -clumping fescue. Trees and
woody shrubs shall not be allowed.
2 - The Vegetated shelf shall be planted with a
minimum of three diverse species of herbaceous,
native vegetation at a minimum density of 50
plants per 200 SF of shelf area (3,025/200 =
15.2*50 = 760 plants). Use equal parts Joe-Pye
Weed, Swamp Milkweed and White Turtlehead.
3 - Trees and Shrubs may be planted outside of
the embankment slopes and can serve to shade
the wet pond, along the south, east and west
sides.
Install North American Green C-350
erosion control blanket from edge of basin
spillway to rip -rap at outlet headwall for
entire width of spillway as indicated.
Follow manufacturers installation
