On April 29, 2019, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received your application dated April 15, 2019, with
additional information received on May 22, 2019 requesting a 401 Water Quality Certification from the Division for the
subject property. The Division has determined that your application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The
application is on -hold until the following information is received:
The purpose of the proposed project is to install a 299 linear foot seawall and to remove and replace an existing
boat dock for boater access, amenities, and water access for residential use. This office believes that the
proposed seawall can be significantly reduced to avoid these impacts. Please revise the plans to avoid the
impacts or provide a detailed explanation of why this activity cannot be practically accomplished, reduced or
reconfigured to avoid the impacts to the lake. [15A NCAC 02H .0506(f)&(g)]
Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502 (c), the applicant shall furnish all of the above requested information for the
proper consideration of the application. If all of the requested information is not received within 30 calendar days, of
receipt of this email, the Division will be unable to approve the application and it will be returned. The return of this
project will necessitate reapplication to the Division for approval, including a complete application package and the
appropriate fee.

This revision includes;
Change authorization to NWP 29.
Reduce length of proposed Seawall from 438LF to 299 LF.
The attached drawings should be printed on standard 8-1/2"x11" paper.
