Replace deteriorating culvert and maintain a stable roadway along US 64 for the safety of the traveling public and residents of Roanoke Island.

The wasting 36" X 120 CMP will be removed and replaced with the proposed 54" X 120 CAP on the same alignment. This work will be accomplished using tracked excavator, backhoe,
and dump trucks. The site will be dewatered.

shifted to keep the road open.
