(Duke Energy) submits herein the 2019 Effectiveness Monitoring Report which covers the period March 2018 through June 2019 for the one extraction well at the Asheville Steam Electric Plant. Section 8.6 of the Basis of Design (BOD) Report includes a requirement to submit an annual report to assess the effectiveness of the extraction system. The enclosed is meant to fulfill that requirement. Per the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) letter dated April 4, 2019, the due date for this report was deferred from April 30, 2019 to July 31, 2019.
