License # C-1621 GENERAL: The W. Eleventh Street Single Family project is a proposed residential community located on W. Eleventh Street, directly southwest of the intersection with Delaware Street. The development is located less than a half mile west of the intersection of W. I I St. and NC-21 I (N. Howe St.) in the Town of Southport, Brunswick County, North Carolina. This submittal includes improvements to serve 49 single family lots. Wastewater flows will. be conveyed through a gravity sewer system extension. The proposed gravity sewer extension will consist of approximately 2,250 LF of 8-inch SDR-35 gravity main and 120 LF of 8-inch ductile iron pipe utilized where necessary. The City of Southport has an approved flow reduction on file with the State. In accordance with this approved flow reduction, flow from the proposed service connections has been based on 80 GPD/bedroom. For the three bedroom residences being proposed, each service connection shall be permitted for an average daily flow of 240 GPD. With 49 lots, the total anticipated flow will be 11,760 GPD. Gravity Systern: The gravity sewer system for the project has been sized in accordance with the requirements set forth in "NODE NR Minimum Design Criteria for the permitting of Gravity Sewers" Currently the West Brunswick WWTP has the capacity to accept flow from W.
