2j. Provide a brief description of this project (attach a site plan): This is project will add one new building to an existing
industrial site. The new building will be approximately 7,800 s.f. with gravel pavement added around the building. A
concrete swale is being added to alleviate drainage difficulties created by gravel paving a trailer parking area with a
drainage swale running through it. The Town of Butner stormwater ordinance requires detention of the difference
between pre and post development runoff for the 1 yr.-24 hour storm. A small dry detention basin will be placed to the
north of the new building to meet this requirement.

Avenue in Butner, NC: Go south on Central Avenue, cross over Interstate 85 and take the first road on the left (Will
Suitt Road). The site will be on the left hand side of the road approx. 0.85 miles from Central Avenue.
Please attach a map of the site location using USGS 1:24,000 topographic map and a copy of the latest bound
and published County soil survey with the project/site boundaries delineated. A site plan should also be included
for all projects other than stream and wetland determinations.
