Bryan and Dave,

We are beginning to work on the bridge replacement on Greensboro St Ext in Davidson County. We permitted
temporary fill to sidecast the excavation area for the waterline installation. We installed silt fence along the perimeter
of the temporary impact area. I have attached a picture and a copy of the plans with the silt fence marked in red for
reference.

The need for the silt fence was an oversight on my part. However, its necessary to contain any temporary fills in the
area and prevent a sediment loss. Do you have any problems with us leaving it in place until the end of the project, and
cutting it off and ground level at the completion of the project?
