the volume of wastewater to be permitted in this project has been evaluated along the route to the receiving
wastewater treatment facility and that the flow from this project is not anticipated to cause any capacity
related sanitary sewer overflows or overburden any downstream pump station en route to the receiving
treatment plant under normal circumstances, given the implementation of the planned improvements
identified in the planning assessment where applicable. This analysis has been performed in accordance
with local established policies and procedures using the best available data. This certification applies to
those items listed above in Sections I and 11 plus all attached planning assessment addendums for which I

To whom it may concern:
On behalf of Fielding Homes Forest Ridge, LLC, please find attached documentation in support of a Fast -Track
Application (FTA 04-16) for the above referenced project. As noted in the application, this project will consist
of 859 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer that will tie to an existing manhole in Phase 8. All wastewater generated in
Phase 7 will be treated at the Town of Hillsborough Wastewater Treatment Plant (WfF Permit No. NG
0026433).
The proposed project meets all NCDENR-DWR minimum design criteria for sanitary sewer
extensions. The design flow rate for Phase 7 is calculated at 10,560 gpd (480 gallons per day per
dwelling for a 4-bedroom residence x 22 residences) in accordance with NCAC 2T Rules for
wastewater flow rates. The proposed sanitary sewer lines are more than adequate to convey the
design flow rates for Forest Ridge Phase 7.

Hi Ted,
The Town of Hillsborough will accept the system upon final construction and receipt of all required documents. We are
having developer's apply in their own name for water and sewer extensions as the Town does not want to be
responsible up front (in the state's eyes) for construction of developer funded projects. We will submit a change of
ownership as part of the acceptance process when that time comes.
