As noted in the application, this project will consist of 859 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer that will tie to an existing manhole in Phase 8. All wastewater generated in Phase 7 will be treated at the Town of Hillsborough Wastewater Treatment Plant (WfF Permit No. NG 0026433). The proposed project meets all NCDENR-DWR minimum design criteria for sanitary sewer extensions. The design flow rate for Phase 7 is calculated at 10,560 gpd (480 gallons per day per dwelling for a 4-bedroom residence x 22 residences) in accordance with NCAC 2T Rules for wastewater flow rates. The proposed sanitary sewer lines are more than adequate to convey the design flow rates for Forest Ridge Phase 7.
