The natural channel elevation is at 243.1 approximately 25 feet upstream of the existing cross pipes and 242.9 approximately 60 feet downstream. The lower bed elevation at the existing cross pipes appears to be man maintained to keep the existing pipes free of sediment and flowing. The proposed invert of the culvert is 241.7. After the stream returns to a natural condition the culvert will be buried approximately 1.3 feet. Directly after construction the culvert will be buried 0.2 to 0.3 feet. In conversation with Mr. Gyamfi due to the bed elevation downstream being greater than 1 foot of the proposed culvert invert aquatic life will be able to pass through the proposed culvert.
