The modification shouldn't result in any new impacts to jurisdictional waters, but does represent a change from our original plans. As a result, I wanted to let you know. Attached above is the original and modified design for the site, which is located at Station 103. The modification is being requested by the contractor and local DOT staff due to concerns about installing the previously proposed spring boxes, and future maintenance issues the boxes might cause if they were to ever fail. I've included the permit request letter that explains our original plans at this site (highlighted in yellow). We think the new proposal will be easier and safer to install, effectively control the water at the site, and make it easier to remedy any future problems if an issue were to occur. I've also attached the 401 and 404 permit for the project. Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm more than happy to provide more information.
