Dear Sir:
The purpose of this letter is to request a modification of the United States Army Corps of Engineers
(USACE) Section 404 Individual Permit and North Carolina Division of Water Resources
(NCDWR) Section 401 Water Quality Certification, Isolated Waters State General Permit, and
Neuse River Riparian Buffer Certification for the above -referenced project. The current expiration
date for these approvals is December 31, 2019. In order to complete all work in jurisdictional areas,
NCDOT is requesting an expiration date extension of December 31, 2021.
