A copy of the General Certification is attached. This Certification may be used in qualifying for coverage under Corps of Engineers' Nationwide Permit No. 26. The contract will involve construction of a dam across an existing ditch. The area behind the dam will then be excavated and flooded to create •a storage reservior for an existing golf course. Due to the nature of the project, we are applying under your nationwide permit program. It is our opinion that this project is eligible for nationwide permit #26. The construction is scheduled for March of 1993. Therefore, it is requested that your review and approval be accomplished as soon as possible.
