This inspection was conducted to ascertain what maintenance and repairs have been made since the Compliance Evaluation Inspection on August 21, 2018. Staff continue to make repairs to equipment as needed. DWR notes that many of the treatment components are reaching the end of their useable lifespan and staff appear to be operating the facility to the best of their ability given the constraints presented by aging infrastructure. This inspection was conducted to determine what maintenance and repairs have been made since the last compliance inspection on August 21, 2018. The following improvements and repairs were noted during the site visit. New curbing has been installed near the front gate and behind the residuals pad and lime silo to more effectively direct any runoff back to the headworks for treatment. The bar screen has been repaired and additional concrete repair work has been completed throughout the facility. New grating installed and painting of safety rails completed to improve accessibility and safety. Diffusers are being repaired within the aeration basins and air distribution appears to have been significantly improved since the last inspection. Facility staff are taking measures to repair items in house as aging infrastructure continues to present problems. Many of the plant's components are past their useable life-span and operations staff appear to be operating the facility to the best of their ability given the constraints. NC0025321 17 (Cont.)
