Final evaluation of the project before the project letting has indicated a slight adjustment to the fill slope on the project that affects previously permitted wetland impacts at Wetland Site 1 and Wetland Site 2. See attached Revised stream/wetland permit drawing 2 of 8 (which is the plan view without topographic lines) and Revised stream/wetland permit drawing 8 of 8 (which is the summary impact sheet). Note the following change in impacts based on impacts presented in the summary impact sheet: Wetland Site 1: Increase of 0.1 ac of excavation in wetlands resulting in a REVISED total of 0.15 ac of wetland impacts Wetland Site 2: Increase of 0.1 ac of excavation in wetlands resulting in a REVISED total of 0.20 ac of wetland impacts I was in contact with the DIMS last week regarding the revised impacts and they have provided a letter indicating that they will provide the additional compensatory mitigation for the project. See attached letter from DIMS dated July 17, 2019 indicating the additional 0.02 acre of wetland impact for a REVISED total of 0.35 acre of wetland mitigation to be provided for the project. The Department respectfully requests that you review this information and provide revised permit authorization to construct the project based on information presented in this email.
