Morning all,
After consultation with DMF and DWR the applicant has modified the proposal to replace the
originally proposed sill along Pamlico Sound with a rip rap revetment. This modification was to
alleviate concerns with the location of the sill in relation to SAV. Please accept these new workplans
and narrative (attached above). If you have already provided comments please let me know if the
modification changes your comments or if you have not provided comments please reference this
modification.

The applicants, John O'Brien and Peter O'Brien, are requesting a permit for development of the property
located at 0 NC Hwy 12, Frisco, NC 27936, Parcel # 014983001. The total land area for the property is
2.2905 acres. The property is a vacant lot.
The area has seen significant erosion along the shoreline in the last several years. The project aims to
protect the shoreline from future erosion and protect and preserve the marsh.
This project will consist of a rip rap revetment built along the shoreline. The revetment will be
approximately 6 feet wide, 2 feet tall and approximately 365 feet long. The slope of the revetment will
be no steeper than a 3/1 ratio of width to height.
The total footprint for the for the project will be approximately 2,190 square feet (6' wide*365' long).
Total property length along the entire shoreline is approximately 850 feet.
