Aqua North Carolina, Inc. (Aqua) offers the following response to the above -referenced Notice
of Violation and Intent to Assess Civil Penalty; this was for BOD daily maximum exceedance on
April 10, 2019, and monthly average exceeclance vio ations on Apri 30, 2019:
filters. The filter elements were received the first week of June, the filter fabric retainers were
repaired, and the new fabric elements were installed in both filters June 14, 2019. We attribute
this manufacturer design issue to the BOD overage.
