The time and assistance of Al Height with this inspection was appreciated. Below is a list of findings developed from the inspection and review of the permit. 1. The subject permit was reissued and became effective October 1, 2015 and will expire July 31, 2020. No significant changes were made to the permit. The facility is permitted to discharge cooling tower blowdown to an unnamed tributary to Little Branch, a Class C waters in the Cape Fear Basin. 2. According to Mr. Height, cooling tower blowdown is no longer discharged to the environment, instead it is sent to a holding tank and is pumped to the Town of Holly Springs sanitary sewer collection system. Permit NCG500664 can be rescinded since the discharge has been eliminated. If you would like to rescind permit NCG500664 please request in writing your reason for rescission to Charles H.
