With reference to the subject NPDES permit, the start of decanting is scheduled to
begin with the removal of stop logs from the ash basin discharge structure the week of
July 8, 2019. This will allow the ash basin water to be initially removed by gravity. To
lower the ash basin water level further, a pumping operation will be implemented. It is
planned that a pumping system and temporary wastewater treatment system will be
installed and begin operation in August 2019.
If have questions or need additional information please contact Robert Wylie at (704)

Sincerely,
