I am awaiting receipt of the first draft of potential SOC language from the Central Office permitting staff.
As far as what we may need from the City, I would only suggest what I mentioned below .... a list of projects that are
either currently underway or planned in the next 5 years, including projected start and finish dates.
I hope to have something in hand very soon and as quickly as I do, I will be in touch to schedule another meeting with
everyone.

My meeting in Raleigh last week went very well. I think we have found a way to create a single SOC covering both the
Collection System and the NPDES Wastewater Permit. One of the Central Office permitting staff will be drafting some

boilerplate language to get us started and then we can set up another meeting with the Albemarle staff and yourself to
negotiate the final terms.
In order to establish some baseline information to begin the negotiation process, it may be helpful for Albemarle staff
and you to draft a list of projects that are either currently underway or planned in the next 5 years, including projected
start and finish dates.
I will be in touch at some point later this week to schedule a follow-up meeting.
