West Stanly WWTP NC0043532
We are in the process of beginning negotiations of an SOC with Stanly County Utilities for West Stanly WWTP
(NC0043532).
At some point soon, we will need the know what level of effluent limits relaxation might be possible for BOD, TSS, NH3
and Fecal.
We are meeting with them today to discuss what amount of additional flow we are going to allow with this SOC. It's not
that they are creeping up on 80-90%, but rather that they are functioning on only 1 clarifier at present and the new
clarifier construction will not be completed until mid to late 2020. The additional flow, in whatever amount, will be
phased into the SOC with a small block of flow upfront and subsequent small blocks flow allowed following successful
completion of various negotiated terms.
