The following should be considered a response to your letter dated June 11, 2019 and received by my office on
June 17, 2019 regarding the City of Wilson Collection System Inspection (WQCS00021). The response will
address items 7 and 9 from the letter and inspection performed by Mr. Cheng Zhang on May 16, 2019.
Item 7) Response: The vent stack for the manhole has been repaired. (picture included)
Item 9) Response: The City's Response Action Plan for SSO has been updated to reflect all the recent
changes in personnel. (included page of plan)

1. Upon discovery of a possible S.S.O. site during normal duty hours, notify the S.S.O.

2. After normal duty hours, contact Mr. Young at 205-2523. In the event that he cannot be
reached, contact Mr. Bunn at 205-2540. In the event that these individuals. cannot be reached,
call the UCC at 399-2444 so that he may call Mr. Pridgen at (252) 205-2519 or Mr. Eatmon at
(252) 205-2531
3. S.S.O. Contact Monitors will be the primary interface between the COW and the State of
North Carolina Division of Environmental Quality on all S.S.O. matters.
IN CITIZEN'S YARD
I . TiIl the area whenever possible. Apply lime, seed, and straw.
2. If not able to till, apply lime and two inches of topsoil and mix thoroughly. Lime again
lightly, then seed and cover with straw.
