Option 1 selected - no buffer or full tributaries;
Landowner wants to keep both crossings as fords (less maintenance than
culvert);
Easement end not at property line; cattle will have access to stream above
easement fence; partially wooded buffer, groundcover cattle impacts; E2
start; R P1 begins at kick -point; some incision; some cattle impacts to
banks; bedrock in channel; restoration raising bed, not a lot of offline
planned so far (waiting on topo); UT2 ditch - wetland & upland plants, cattle
trampling; sediment source will continue, concern over jurisdiction
determination, low slope in easement, poor bedform - where's functional
uplift of habitat; UTFC active erosion, incision & trampling impacts continue;
cobble bottom channel; BMP option on non JD tributaries; buffer discussion
- need vs better project/investment; UT3 incised low bedform - needs
restoration; below second crossing not as incised, on bedrock, still
trampled; water quality very poor - would be good benthic monitoring site;
get wells installed to establish baseline functional uplift of hydrology (justify
credit ratios); question on credit ratios - E2 would like to have some
stream/bank work;
