Dear Mr. Harris:
This correspondence is in reference to your letter dated July 8, 2019, for the Bawdy & Quicosin Swmp Mitigation
Site, located in Johnston County, North Carolina. This site is being utilized by the North Carolina Department of
Transportation as compensatory mitigation for Stream and Buffer impacts associated with project W-5107.
The site was constructed March 2017 with final monitoring report published Jun 2019. The regulatory agencies
agreed to closeout at the site review meeting June 25, 2019.
By copy of this letter, we are notifying you that this site can be closed out with the following results as described in
your letter, and the final monitoring report:
Stream Relocation: 350 linear feet.
Zone 1 Neuse Buffer Restoration: 18,314 square feet.
Zone 2 Neuse Buffer Restroation: 10,769 square feet.
