Dear Mr. Harris:
This correspondence is in reference to your letter dated July 8, 2019, for the Daniels Street Mitigation Site, located
in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. This site is being utilized by the North Carolina Department of
Transportation as compensatory mitigation for Wetland impacts associated with project U-3826.
The site was constructed February 2012 with seven years of monitoring required. The regulatory agencies agreed to
closeout at the site review meeting June 25, 2019.
By copy of this letter, we are notifying you that this site can be closed out with the following results as described in
your letter, and the final monitoring report:
Wetland Restoration: 0.864 acres
