THIS DEED, made this .© day of June, 2012, by and between the Trustees of
Central Carolina Community College, a body corporate of the State of North Carolina (the
"College") to Chatham County, a body politic and corporate of the State of North Carolina (the
"County") whose mailing address is Post Office Box 1809, Pittsboro, North Carolina 27312.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, by deed dated the 12th day of March, 2001, and recorded in Book 864, Page
1, Chatham County Registry (the "Deed") the County conveyed the hereinafter described real
estate located in Chatham County, North Carolina (the "Property") to Central Carolina
Community College; and
WHEREAS, the Deed was subject to a right of reversion which provided that if the
Property ceased to be used as a place for instruction and other related community college
purposes it should revert to the County; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the College has determined that the College no
longer needs the Property as a place for instruction or other related community college purposes,
and that the Property should be reconveyed to the County; and
WHEREAS, the reconveyance of the Property to the County has been approved by the
State Board of Community Colleges as required by law;

NOW, THEREFORE, the College, for and in consideration of the premises, and other
good and other valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby
acknowledged, has bargained and sold and by these presence does hereby grant, bargain, sell,
and convey unto the County the following described real estate located in Matthews Township,
Chatham County, North Carolina:
502 West Third Street
Siler City, North Carolina
All of that certain parcel of real estate located in Siler City, North Carolina
and bounded on the south by West Third Street, on the west by North Fir Avenue,
on the north by West Fourth Street, and on the east by North Evergreen Avenue,
and being designated on the Chatham County tax map as Parcel ID Number
62694 (formerly SC-109-13-1) containing 2.36 acres, more or less, and being the
identical property conveyed to Central Carolina Community College by Chatham
County by deed dated the 12`h day of March, 2001, and recorded in Book 864,
Page 1, Chatham County Registry, and also being known as the former Henry
Siler School Property.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the aforesaid real estate and all privileges and
appurtenances thereunto belonging, to the said County in fee simple forever.
And the College covenants with the County that it is seized of said premises in fee and
has the right to convey the same in fee simple; that it has done nothing to impair such title as it
received from the County, and that it will warrant and defend such title that it received against
the claims of all persons whomsoever.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the College has executed this instrument in the manner
required by law.
