The City of Jacksonville has retained the services of Kimley-Horn & Associates to design and permit
the Western Regional Upper Trunk Sewer inJacksonville, NC. The trunk sewer will convey flow from
the intersection of Western Boulevard and Williamsburg Parkway to south of the intersection of
Williamsburg Parkway and Fawn Trail, No additional flow will be added to the system at this time and
the trunk sewer will tie into existing sanitary sewer on the south end of the vicinity map attached. The
trunk sewer is one component of an expansion of Jacksonville's collection system, which will provide
additional system capacity for current and projected wastewater flows.
Enclosed are the following for your review:
* 15ANCACO2TD3OO—Fast Track Sewer System Extension Form (1copy)
m Application fee of$48U
* CD with all permit requirements
* Finding of No Significant Impact and Environmental Assessment and 401 Water Quality
Certification (1copy)
m Aerial Image showing Proposed Western Regional Upper Trunk Sewer (1 copy)
* USGSTopographic Maps (1copy)
It is our understanding that the Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity will not be required
for the City ofJacksonville. The Flow Tracking / Acceptance Form kynot necessary because vveare
not adding flow tnthe overall sewer system.
As the project is being reviewed, we would be more than willing to setup a meeting to discuss the
project. Feel free to contact myself regarding any questions or issues concerning the application at
