Comments:
Staff visited the site on January 10, 2005. The site is old agricultural fields, which are returning to
forested conditions. The road adjacent to the property is currently being expanded to 4 lanes and the
area in general is in a state of commercial development. The applicant requests approval to fill two
isolated wetlands on the sjte. The fill is to allow for the construction of a commercial shopping
center. The two wetlands are located in the interior of the development. Avoidance/minimization is
not an option.
