Inspection Summary:
Emergency site visit conducted to evaluate structures and freeboard levels because of unusually high amounts of rain. DWR was
contacted on 8/3/18 of non-compliance. Facility recorded 10.75" of rain over 5 days with no breaks. Waste was into spillway on
lowest pond (New #4). There were some lower areas along the dam that had previously been there that were collecting waste as
well. A containment basin exists at the bottom of the spillway of New #4 to prevent waste from reaching surface waters. Waste
was only into spillway and being contained by good vegetative cover as well. Had facility prepare a Plan of Action while onsite and
discussed options for lowering waste levels into compliance.
