In reference to the Notice of Violation dated 1 May 2019, we offer the following response:
The ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system is currently being completely replaced at our Ashley Hills
Treatment Facility to ensure that discharged water is adequately treated prior to introduction to the
environment.
Construction is well under way, and I expect completion within the next 60 days. No fecal violations
have occurred since February 2019. We ask that this facility investment be considered when
possible civil penalties are assessed.
