Dear Mr. Lewis:
On July 9, 2019, Brian Lambe from the Wilmington Regional Office of the Division of Energy, Mineral,
and Land Resources (DEMLR), conducted a compliance evaluation inspection for Swan Point Marina
Sneads Ferry located in Page Street, Sneads Ferry, Onslow County, North Carolina. The site drains to
New River, which is currently classified as Class SA HQW Waters in the White Oak River Basin.
The following observations were noted during the DEMLR inspection (please see the attached
addendum for additional information about your permit):
1) Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP)
A Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP) has not been developed, recorded, and properly
implemented. Develop SPPP by January 1, 2020.

Qualitative monitoring has not been conducted and recorded in accordance with permit requirements.
Sampling should be conducted for the second half of the year.

Sampling should be conducted for the second half of the year. Yearly results must be sent to Central
Office.
