The reason for the modification is that the number of homes the NC 42 East Pump Station must serve has increased since the inception of the original Tuscany Development Master Plan. This increase in pumping capacity will be achieved by replacing the two (2) existing 30 HP submersible pumps with two (2) 50 HP submersible pumps, replacing the existing 60 kW backup generator, and replacing some electrical components in the existing electrical shelter. The proposed modification meets all NCDEQ-DWR minimum design criteria for pump station design. Please reach me at (919)535-5213 or cmanessC vithersravenel.com with any questions you may have.
