O'Neal Director of Water and Sewer Utilities Post Office Box 230 High Point, North Carolina 27261 Dear Mr. O'Neal: Reference the meeting of April 16, 1991, with Mr. John Thomas of my staff and Mr. James Covington of Davis - Martin - Powell & Associates, Inc., (consulting engineer for the project) at the proposed Wiley Park Subdivision sewer outfall project located off Vickrey Chapel Road adjacent to Reddicks Creek, High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. The purpose of the meeting was to review proposed plans for the aforementioned sewer outfall, and to inspect the site for wetlands subject to Department of the Army permitting authority. The site visit inspection revealed that all proposed work is located on high ground with the exception of: a. A 35 foot wide bank to bank crossing s; of Registers Creek (Reddicks Creek\USGS quad), b. A 320 linear foot crossing of Registers Creek (Reddicks Creek/USGS quad) and the adjacent wetland of the aforementioned creek. Construction plans furnished to this office on April 19, 1991, show that you propose to make these crossing below creek/tributary bottom grades within a 20 foot wide corridor. On April 1, 1988, we issued general permit No. SAWCO81-N-000-0049 : (enclosed) that authorizes the installation of aerial and subaqueous utility lines with attendant structures to span navigable waters of the United States in North Carolina. Your proposed sewer outfall installation is authorized if it is accomplished in strict accordance with the enclosed conditions. Please be aware that this authorization does not relieve you of the responsibility to obtain any other required State or local approval. If you have questions, contact Mr. John Thomas, Regulatory Branch, telephone (919) 846-0648. Sincerely, G. Wayne Wright Chief, Regulatory Branch Enclosure ??. sh. . r"`3 .1,?. .. .d.,. ? F ?? ..??.?.
