The responses are given in the order presented in your letter: I. Permit Information: A. There are nine duplex stations. The difference is in the RBI station. It serves a single property and is only required to have a simplex station, however, it was renovated and as part of that work, a duplex guide rail system was installed. II. Operator information: A. Two staff members have taken the exam at this point and we will update the form as soon as the results are available. III. Records: A. Noted. B. Records of inspections are kept, however, the inspections need updating. We discussed the requirement you provided in your letter that states that inspections are needed every three months and the Town will be performing and tracking the inspections as required. C. Brian has stated that he has shared the CIP with your office. D. Noted. E. The Town is maintaining records for high -priority lines. We are noting the lines that are cleaned each year and are noting the lines to be cleaned in the coming year to comply with our permit requirements. I. We do maintain a work order record of repairs. J. The spill response plan was distributed by having it available in our sewer maintenance vehicle for ready reference. K. We do record SSO's and will maintain these records going forward. L. Citizen complaints are captured in our work order records. M. We were not aware of this threshold for issuing a performance report and will work to prepare and issue a report as directed. IV. Collection System Inspection: A. Noted. B. Pump Stations L Batchelor Road PS (#4) - We are cleaning the station and will continue to monitor and keep the station in good operational condition. The hour meter discrepancy is related to a bad seal that required repair. The pump has been restored to service and we will continue to track the hours of each pump to see if run times of the two pumps roughly match. ii. Pine Needles PS (#2) - We are cleaning the station and will continue to monitor and keep the station in good operational condition. We will make the repair to the hour meter. iii. Brickyard PS (#3) — The audible alarm functions. It may have been drowned out by the generator that was running at the time of inspection. We have double checked its operation. The fence is scheduled for repair. iv. Airport PS (#6) — Noted. We will continue to improve the stations on an ongoing basis and are working to obtain funding to update the SCADA systems.
