Resource Environmental Solutions, LLC (RES) is pleased to inform you that mitigation earthwork,
planting, and installation of monitoring devices has been completed at the Uzzle Buffer/Nutrient
Offset and Stream Mitigation Bank. RES acquired 404 (SAW-2016-01973), 401 (DWR # 16-
0981), and NPDES Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (JC# 19-012-P) permits prior to
construction. Monitoring devices include four vegetation plots. Fourteen tree species were
recorded, and the site yielded an average of 1,285 stems per acre. Data from these plots will be
reported as a courtesy to DWR but no success criteria was established as they are in enhancement
areas. Photos of the vegetation plots and are attached as well as a map depicting the locations of
the vegetation plots. Permanent fence installation has begun and will be completed prior to the
July 2019 site visit.

A Baseline Monitoring Report will be submitted following the completion of the As-Built Survey.
The Baseline Monitoring Report will include updated buffer and nutrient crediting areas based on
the surveyed stream and easement. No major modifications were made during stream construction.
