In accordance with NC Environmental Management Commission Special Order by Consent,
EMC WQ S 18-005, Duke Energy Progress, LLC (Duke) is hereby submitting this notification
that decanting from the ash basin will begin on June 27, 2019. This notice fulfills our obligation
found in the subject Order's Section 2(b).
