Dear Mr. Templeton:
We received your letter dated April 11, 2019 approving our request to extend the permit deadline
to Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 5:00 PM. We are actively working with the Division of Water
Resources Management, Mooresville Regional Office and the NCDEQ Divisions of Waste
Management to discharge the wastewater and remove the existing sludge under our existing
permit; however, our weekly discussions have shown that we will not meet the July 2, 2019
deadline of our existing permit. Therefore, we are formally requesting another 60-day permit
extension to September 2, 2019, which will be more than adequate time for the wastewater to be
discharged in accordance with the existing permit and for the sludge to be removed from the site.
