Request for Correction of Typographical Errors in NPDES ISW Permit
Roxboro Steam Station

Person County
On January 27, 2017, the Department of Environmental Quality -Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land
Resources issued the final NPDES Industrial Stormwater permit for Duke Energy's Roxboro Steam
Station in Person County. The permit contains two typographical errors that Duke requests be
corrected. The first error concerns the analytical monitoring schedule. The monitoring period end date
should indicate December 31 for the second semi-annual sampling period of each associated year. An
excerpt from the permit is pasted below for reference.
