The above information is provided as required for processing of the requested permit application for the Mosaic
at Chatham Park Mixed -Use Development, consisting of (20) proposed commercial/residential lots. This Initial
submittal is to allow the project to install the necessary sanitary sewer infrastructure in order to subdivide and
develop the individual lots and therefore we are requesting that a Zero Flow Application be granted at this time.
Each individual lot submission (submitted as multiple lots at a time) will request a Daily Design Flow at the time
of Site Plan submission that will in -turn be a modification to this original permit. The estimated Daily Design Flow
is listed in the calculations as 175,000 GPD.

Thank you Mitch for adding me into this e-mail string. Looks like we had a couple of items that needed verification or
updates:
Item V. of the application did not include the system wide collection system permit number as required. Pittsboro's
collection system permit number is WQCS00146. With your's and the Town's permission, we'll include this on the
application.
- Yes we are fine with this addition to the application —thank you for assisting with this.
Since there is an aerial, Item IX.S on the project should have been checked "YES" (for a high -priority line), and an
attachment with the size, material and location of the aerial crossing should be attached. This aerial line should be
added Pittsboro's list of high priority lines, as part of their collection system permit. With your's and the permittee's
permission, I can add a note to Item IX.S that there is an aerial, and we'll need to know the size, material and location of
the aerial.
- The town will add this new aerial to the list of high priority lines within our collection system.
- Mitch — you will need to provide the size, material and location information requested.
Also, on the FTSE form that was submitted with the application, the firm capacity of the CLLS PS is listed as 0.012 med,
but the design average daily flow is listed as 0.030 mgd. Please provide accurate values for each of these.
I found there were actually 2 errors in this info, it looks like there had been a few modifications to this permit
and we had pulled older information and then there was a math error. The correct information should be:
o The Firm Capacity for this pump station should have been 0.864 MGD
o The Design Average Daily Flow should have been 0.346 MGD
o This would leave the available capacity at 0.340 MGD.
Let me know if you need us to modify the Flow Tracking form and resend it over to you or if this can be updated.

This email is an acknowledgement that we have begun review on the fast -track sewer extension application for the
referenced project. Through a cursory review, it appears that the application included everything that is required.
Based on the application, no flow will initially be included in this permit, but there are plans to modify the permit in the
future to add flow. Please keep in mind that each permit modification will require an application and fee to be
submitted.
