It is a vacant lot we are developing to build our primary home. It is in a residential
neighborhood.

The deck, stairs and dock going to the water will all be made of wood.
D. Impact Justification and Mitigation
1. Avoidance and Minimization
1a. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project.*
The house was specifically designed so as not to impact the Neuse River buffers
and to be in compliance with the CAMA 75' sq. foot coverage, as well as complying
with the HPC regulations and setbacks from the road.
1b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques.
We will have a silt fence installed along the waters edge and on the right side of the
land to reduce blowing debris impact. We will remove all garbage and debris,
weekly. Inform the project manager and all sub -contractors to be mindful of any and
all impact they may have on the Neuse River. Letting them know it is a protected
and governed body of water. Trash bins and buckets will be provided for trash and
cigarette butts. The project manager will be required to make sure the property is
kept tidy.

The dock has been approved by the HPC. We have been informed from our dock
installer (Bobby Cahoon) that we could be more than 6 months out. Bobby Cahoon
Wil submit the request to CAMA for the permit once he has a firm date for our
installation.
