WET-Testina and Instream Monitorina: This permit requires instream monitoring for
Temperature and Dissolved Oxygen upstream and downstream. Data is consistently similar at both
monitoring stations, and within water -quality standards. This permit does not require Whole
Effluent Toxicity (WET) testing - no permit changes recommended.
Renewal Chan,,e Summary: The Permittee has made no changes in processes or WWTP facilities
since last renewal. Monitoring and sampling include BOD-5 and Ammonia (summer / winter
limits consistent with similar Class -2 WWTPs) plus effluent and instream monitoring for
Dissolved Oxygen, and Temperature. According to the renewal application, production volumes for
kiln drying are identical to those presented for the previous permit cycle - no permit changes
recommended.
